New Professionals

Check out our Mentorship Program which meets monthly from fall through spring.

The ISCSW provides numerous services to MSW graduate students and new professionals.

Beginning clinical social workers today do not have the advantage of the many professional support systems that were available in the past. Many new graduates are finding themselves responsible for difficult cases without the benefit of clinically focused supervision. They do not find as many seasoned clinicians available to help them address their professional needs. To fill this gap, ISCSW has designed three programs for new professionals who become members of the Society: supervision, mentorship, and psychotherapy referral. The purpose of these programs is to provide professional support and guidance to recent social work graduates and to clinical social workers who are new to our area.
