Accomplishments
The ISCSW had a major role in the passage of legislation providing licensure for Clinical Social Workers in Illinois.
Our organization helped pass important amendments to mental health care laws, including third-party reimbursement, and the changes in the Juvenile Court Act, the Crime Victim's Compensation Act, the Mental Health and Disabilities Act, the Unified Code of Corrections, and the Adoption Act.
The ISCSW continues to keep our membership abreast of issues and policies affecting Clinical Social Workers through our newsletter, education events and our alliances. We welcome your participation in furthering important professional causes.
