New Professionals

Check out our Mentorship Program which meets monthly from fall through spring.

The ISCSW provides numerous services to MSW graduate students and new professionals.

Mentorship Program
The mentorship program offers support and guidance to those evolving from graduate education to beginning social work practice. The goal of the program is to support beginning social workers as they establish their professional identities. Mentors are L.C.S.W.’s with broad experience in clinical social work.

A mentor is an ISCSW member in good standing. Mentors serve as advisors on such matters as professional decisions related to field of practice, managing the demands of a professional position, continuing education, professional networking, etc. Mentors do not replace supervisors.

The mentorship group meets monthly from fall through spring.

The mentorship group is provided free of charge to members. The first meeting is open to all new social workers.
